Start here: signs your spreadsheet should become real software

Spreadsheets are great until they aren't. It's time to move on when:

- Several people edit the same file and overwrite each other
- One wrong formula breaks everything, and only one person knows how it works
- You copy the same information between files by hand
- You can't tell who changed what, or when
- Customers or staff need to see their own part without seeing everything

The fix doesn't have to be huge: often a simple web app with logins does the same job, with no broken formulas and a history of every change. Your existing data comes with you.
